Rev. Willie Woodson Pastor, First United Presbyterian Church Sister, Jean Z. Woodson, died suddenly on Thursday, December 4, 2008. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at St. Paul's Baptist Church. Rev. Lance D. Watson, pastor, and Rev. Rodney Hunter officiated. Please be in prayer for the Woodson family.  12/09/08
David Bailey Member Blue Ridge PC and Christian Entertainer/Performer David had a second brain surgery in Dec. for the installation of a catheter for nuclear meds at Duke.  On Christmas Eve he received radioactive isotopes and came home.  Christmas Day he began experiencing severe pain, so he was admitted to UVA hospital.  He returned home Monday, Dec. 29.  He is improving daily and hopes to find full recovery over the next couple weeks. Healing prayers are requested. 12/31/08
Rev. Russell Davis Honorably Retired Moved to Lucy Core Center for rehab after gall bladder surgery.  Doing well.  Healing prayers are requested. 12/02/08
Rev. Charles Sutton Honorably Retired, member Older Adult Committee Wife, Rachel, moved to full care facility at Westminster Canterbury/Richmond. Hospice has been called in for assistance.
Rev. Sutton to undergo cataract surgery first week of December. 11/25/08
Rev. Doug Fenton US Army Chaplain Wife, Christine, is in Dewitt Hospital at Ft Belvoir, VA.  Healing prayers requested.  10/28/08
